ACM-W proudly hosted The Level-Up Buildathon, a full-stack web development challenge that celebrated and empowered women in tech. Launched on 10th June 2025, the event invited teams of 1 to 3 girls to take on progressive development tasks using any tech stack they were comfortable with—be it React, Django, or anything in between.
Hackdata 2025 was an intense, high-energy hackathon where ideas turned into real builds. Teams spent hours brainstorming, coding, debugging, and pushing limits together. It was all about collaboration, creativity, and seeing what happens when curious minds and caffeine collide.
Envisage was a 24-hour intra-college hackathon that brought together over 150 participants, all ready to code, create, and compete. With a prize pool of ₹60,000, the event was all about innovation, teamwork, and solving real-world problems.
Coding Jams was an online DSA series curated to help students strengthen their problem-solving skills. Led by our tech lead, each session focused on core data structures and algorithms essential for mastering DSA. Interactive problem-solving sessions were followed by a LeetCode contest the next day to reinforce concepts.
On 23rd May 2025, ACM-W hosted Mr. Sunil Kumar for a powerful session on navigating the journey from campus to global conferences. With experience as an author, international speaker, and mentor across 12 countries, he shared practical advice on growth, leadership, and digital accessibility.
ACM-W and GDSC came together to host Unfiltered, an honest and inspiring speaker session featuring Tanishka Yagneshwar and Urvi Gupta. Tanishka, a Google Summer of Code '24 intern, and Urvi, an upcoming Microsoft Summer Intern '25, shared their journeys in tech. From prepping for interviews to navigating rejections and wins—they laid it all out, no filters.
On 30th July 2024, ACM-W hosted a Speaker Series session featuring Devina Bhatnagar and Vansh Maheshwari, both SDE interns at Dell. The event was held online via Google Meet. They shared their internship journey, interview experiences, and tips on preparing for tech roles. The session gave students a peek into the work culture at Dell and how to crack SDE roles.
On 21st October 2024, ACM-W and Nexus teamed up to host a fun and interactive Game Development Workshop. Participants were guided on how to use PyCharm as an integrated development environment (IDE) for game development. The session focused on creating a two-player game, highlighting key coding concepts and teamwork.
ACM-W and ACM hosted a hands-on Git & GitHub workshop on March 21st, 2024. Participants explored the basics of version control through interactive activities and live practice. The session helped students understand real-world workflows like commits, branches, and pull requests.
Held on 20–21 December 2024 at BMSCE and RVCE, the summit brought together ACM chapters from across India. Attendees explored powerful themes like Sustainable AI, Responsible Tech, and innovation for sustainability. The event featured keynotes, panel discussions, and hands-on activities that encouraged learning and collaboration.
The CSE Department Mixer 2025, hosted by ACM-W, was a fun kickoff for the 2029 CSE batch. With tech demos, coding showcases, and lots of casual conversations, the event helped freshers connect and feel at home in the CSE community. It was all about learning, networking, and starting the journey on a high note.
